Pastel pallet Dresden Plate, made from fabric scraps from clothes I made for my daughters.   Estimated start time 1980's.  The blades are machine sewn and then the wheel was hand sewn to the background block.  Thinking of cutting it up VFW style and sewing back together.  Stopper has always been the center covering, I dislike the any circle center I have tried.   I have even considered a crocheted flower with a button center?  Adding I don't love applique, so that is a problem too.  I have 20 blocks complete and no plans to make more.  If inspiration sparks I will give an update.  Right now it is all neatly stored with lots of additional yellow solid background fabric.  Oh did I mention that it has a sister quilt, that is done.  A sampler quilt will all the same fabrics.  I pieced it and then took to someone else to quilt.  I am not pleased with the quilting and it was probably the best motivation to teach myself to free motion quilt.
